			Events in late 2024, mostly concerning the Israel/Palestine issue and reproductive rights, led to major social discord (pun intended!) and the retiring of Politics Megathread, which was renamed to Yaoi Megathread. All non-yaoi material was banned from Politics Megathread, a policy we rigorously enforce, and we mostly pivoted to mocking the russian army and sharing pictures of cute men.

			Yaoi Megathread is the best source of yaoi on the internet<sup>[citation needed]</sup> and has entered wide renown, with some [[The Onion\|other communities]] becoming quite hostile to any mention of its existence.

			Posting non-yaoi material in Yaoi Megathread is punishable by up to 60 seconds of timeout and the suspension of the staff approved based person role. Nobody who has posted in yaoi megathread is permitted access to [[staff-furry-rp]], as we must keep that most beloved channel fully pure.

			There have been a number of attempts to censor yaoi, but all were unsuccessful.
