n-gon is a popular browser game developed by high school science teacher Ross Landgreen. Described as a "2d roguelike sidescroller", its main focus is using realistic/theoretical weapons, abilities, and technology to upgrade your character, m, and fight dangerous mobs. n-gon has been described as "the Yotsuba of browser games" and was nominated for the title of 2025 n-community favorite game.

n-gon was created primarily with JavaScript using the matter.js 2-D physics library, as well as with HTML and CSS. The code is free and open-source and can be found on GitHub. Community maps and mods are a major part of the game.

Landgreen first worked on the games "mech", "spacetime", "ballistiscs", and "portal", which are now seen as the predecessors to n-gon. There were then versions of the games "sidescroller" and "LandGame", before the first official version of n-gon came out in 2018. Check the history page for more info.
